At an open bar there are 26 bottles: 6 vodkas, 5 Bacardi, 4 cognac, 4 Seagram’s, and 7 wines. If a guest randomly selects 5 bottles for his table, what is the probability that he will get 2 vodkas, 2 Seagram’s, and 1 cognac?
Kinda lost. would appreciate any help, thanks…

I was watching cheap n’ easy clips right here on yahoo and I seen a clip where Brook Peterson (The Host) found mini pink champagne bottles for .99 each. The champagne is also pink, and the bottle has a twist cork that’s easy to remove. It’s very cute and I would like to have them at my sisters bachelorette party. So is it possible to let me know the name of the bottles or if you have something similar let me know. Plus where I can find them or order them from. Also if you have an email for cheap n’ easy or Brook Peterson that would be good too. I would also suggest to go check the clip out. It is under Life and you can check out the vids for other foods. When the video box opens up, select cheap n’ easy. Once you get there click on Wines to cheers. Watch the whole thing then respond back. Try your best through it ’cause the video is having problems. Thanks!!

I’m about ready to get rid of some very beautiful silver plated wine glasses because I’m afraid the wine will ruin them or that they will taint the wine. I’ve actually read that some people think silver helps the taste of some wines. Anyone know if the chemical reaction is at least not a problem?

Four wines. 0 total. Mostly wine novices. Should I go with YOUNG wines from the somewhat famous communes (1 du Tertre margaux 06, 1 Lalande-borie st julien 04, 1 benjamin de sansonnet st. emilion 05, 1 La Grave a pomerol 06), or less famous appellations that are a bit OLDER (2000 Coufran- Haut Medoc, 2003 d’Aiguilhe – Côtes d’Castillon, 1999 Ormes de Pez- St-Estèphe, 2002 Laforge- St. Emilion)

I think the Burger King commercials are ridiculous. Not that McDonald’s or Burger King have good burgers anyway, but why would it make someone more credible in a burger taste test if they’ve never had a burger before???
Think about this… wine-tasters have a LOT of experience tasting wine, and we trust them to select the finest wines, not the people who are having wine for the very first time.

I like drinking wine but i’ve usually left the choice up to whom ever i was drinking with at the time. The other day i went to the store to buy a bottle and as i was cluelessly looking at the miriad of labels facing me an employee asked if i was looking for anything in particular. Well, with most of my wine knowledge gleaned from the movie Sideways i blurted "i’m looking for a nice Pinot Noir" she smiled and pointed out a few choices. I grabbed a Francis Coppolla diamond label I figured if a movie made me blurt out Pinot Noir then maybe a bottle from a famous director would bail me out. At the register we began to converse and we seemed to hit it off. I’d like to go back and speak with her again but i don’t want to seem like a fool. I’ve read everything i can find online and i know a little more than i did that day but maybe some one has a few tips i could use to select another bottle, without seeming like an dolt.
Or should i just admit i know nothing and let her be my guide.
Need I mention I want to make a good impression… Admitedly this is sort of a relationship question as well.
east coast, I like red, The Coppolla was good, not great… this was a large store with a huge sleection of wines…

I’ve always found the taste of wine to be disgusting (red and white). Are there any good ways to acclimate myself to the taste so I don’t shudder or wince afterward? I’m perfectly fine taking shots of hard liquor, but for some reason the taste of wine just grosses me out. Are more expensive wines better? (What I really hate is the "kick" a few seconds after a sip–the actual fruity, etc. taste of the wine is fine.) Thanks!
