I feel like all alcoholic beverages take like crap. I know most people do not drink alcohol for the taste but for the effect, such as beer and hard liquor. However, many people drink wine for the taste. I’ve tried many types of wine and I still think it tastes horrible, so how do people stand drinking wine for the taste?

In the holy quran (the islamic book) , The God say : All of property in this world is like toy and the best operation for a man or woman is that worship the god and do his life in the best direction. but people in the west countries and east far like to live like an animal. you suppose an animal like to eat and drink and do some sextual activity. but the human shouldn’t like an animal.
imagine many people in the world like to go to night clubs and drink wine and do gambling and so many erotic sites in internet and gathering money without helping to poverty people .
but they don’t know anything about the big earthquak .
when was hapen this earthquak?
certainely , it will happened. and all of the world people will gatherd in the other world. they must answerd to god.
what did they do? why they gatherd money and property and didn’t help to poor people?
why they didn’t accept ISLAM as a complete religion?
the god fill hell fire with these people.

How much would you expect to pay at a local bar for a beer/ mixed drink/ wine etc?
What about at a club?

I’ve been doing a little research on preferences and taste of a wine to select for my friend, I think I got most of her preferences down in references to wine tasting:

Only drinks wine Once a week or slightly less
Doesn’t like dry wine
Likes cherries and chocolate
"Fruity" flavors
Drinks wine by itself, as in NOT with food.
Low acidity
Low tannins
Red wine
Aged between 3-10 years

I hope I didn’t leave any holes of information. I don’t drink wine at ALL and I hope I can select a good one for her, anyone know which?
It’s a suprise gift. She has no idea that I’m getting her gifts, and I also have a feeling she thinks I forgot her birthday too. (She’s not my GF so I’m O.K.)

We are a group of 7 married women, age 26-48, all but one of us have children. We do a monthly book club, we have food and drink wine and discuss our book selection. Would love to come up with a name that sort of incorporates wine and books somehow, in a cute way. Anyone with any ideas, send them my way…..Thanks!
