Sometimes, the Communion wine tastes like blood, but not always. Is that because the Priest messed something up?

I feel like all alcoholic beverages take like crap. I know most people do not drink alcohol for the taste but for the effect, such as beer and hard liquor. However, many people drink wine for the taste. I’ve tried many types of wine and I still think it tastes horrible, so how do people stand drinking wine for the taste?

the wine is Lambrusco Italian Wine.

i’m new to oregon and i’m having visiters who want to do a day of wineries. i’ve gone to web sites but they don’t tell how much to visit and taste the wine.
anyone ever gone on an adventure like this and how much money should you take?

My wife and I have a day and a half to spend in the Santa Barbara Valley for some wine tasting. We are not at all familiar with the area or the wines but are adventurous and willing to explore. When it comes to the wine, we prefer to drink mostly reds. Here are a few of our favorite Napa wines to possibly help point us in the right direction for Santa Barbara: Peju, White Hall Lane, Cakebread Cellars, Beringer, and Hall. Any tips are welcome and appreciated!

If not why are they so expensive?

I’m about ready to get rid of some very beautiful silver plated wine glasses because I’m afraid the wine will ruin them or that they will taint the wine. I’ve actually read that some people think silver helps the taste of some wines. Anyone know if the chemical reaction is at least not a problem?
